Ebenezer Home – Supported Accommodation

Ebenezer Home have a male facility and a female facility that provides transitional accommodation for up to 2 years. Female only accommodation is also available for 12-week periods.

Ebenezer also have Crisis Care vacancies, information regarding vacancies are available on bed count for up to date information. Self referral is acceptable by both Crisis and Transitional homes.

Admission only between 9am-5pm.

Derby Family Healing Centre – Marnin Bowa Dumbara Aboriginal Corporation

The Centre provides accommodation for women and children (up to age 16 for boys) experiencing family or domestic violence and those that are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Centrecare Family Accommodation Service

This service operates from Gosnells and provides safe accommodation and support for families who are homeless or about to become homeless

Emmaus Community

Long term accommodation service for adults who live with a mental health issues.

Referrals are to be made via Bentley Mental Health Service.

Emperor’s Crown Backpackers

Located 5 minutes walk from Perth city central. Quality hostel which offers four and six bed dormitories, as well as private double and triple rooms and en suites.

Driver license and/or Passport is required as form of Identification at check in.

Provides transitional accommodation for Aboriginal families either experiencing or at risk of homelessness in the Gosnells area.

Avon Youth Community and Family Services

Avon Youth Community and Family Services Inc (AYCFS Inc) provides a wide range of services to youth aged between 12 to 24 in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia.

AYCFS provides supported accommodation, emergency relief, and NILS loans, among other services for youth either experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Opening hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Balga Family Accommodation Service – Salvation Army

10 - 18 Lavant Way, Balga WA 6061

The service provides housing to families who are either homeless or facing immediate risk of homelessness. Para legal support, advocacy and life skills training are key features of this service.

The service also provides: food and meals, emergency relief, financial counselling and a early learning centre for children 0-6 years.

Derby Aboriginal Short Stay Accommodation

The Derby Aboriginal Short Stay Accommodation service is a purpose-built facility enabling Aboriginal people from remote communities to access short-stay accommodation for up to four weeks at a time.

The 54-bed facility operated by MercyCare in collaboration with Centacare Kimberley provides support to individuals and families who need short term accommodation in Derby.

Priority access will be given to Aboriginal people visiting from surrounding communities who need access to services such as:

– Health
– Employment
– Funeral attendances
– Reconnection with family and land

Kalgoorlie Boulder Youth Accommodation Service (KBYAS) – Salvation Army

We are a government funded service which is administered by The Salvation Army. The daily running of the service is performed by youth workers.

KBYAS offers a 24-hour service to young people aged 15-24 years and their families, in order to provide:

• Emergency, overnight and short-term supported accommodation for up to 3 months for homeless young people and youth at risk.
• Regular and ongoing support to young people and families.
• An opportunity to learn independent living skills and self-development..
• An environment that is conducive to change.
• Information and referral service to young people and their families.

Accommodation: We provide:

• Emergency, overnight, and crisis accommodation for up to 3 months for homeless young people. The cost is $10 per night and includes meals.
• Support to young people and their families.
• Support to young people living independently in the community.
• A cottage for young people in transition to complete independent living.

KBYAS is only five minutes walk from most major shops and services. We have six rooms and both the male and female bathrooms have a bath. There is air conditioning for the summer, and a cosy wood fire for winter.

For a small refundable deposit young people can have a key to their rooms.
