The Garl Garl Walbu Alcohol Association Aboriginal Corporation runs a sobering-up centre based in Derby, Western Australia – the Derby sobering-up centre, which provides overnight accommodation for people intoxicated in public.

The aim of this service is to reduce police incarceration and harm to self and others. The organisation is a member of the Western Australian Network of Alcohol and other Drugs Agencies.

Kambarang Place – Ruah

Kambarang Place is Ruah’s Aborginal Women’s Refuge, the refuge has eight crisis beds for short term accommodation.

The service provides case management services to sole Aboriginal or Torres Strait women who are escaping any form of violence and/or other life crises, in order to enable a pathway out of homelessness and improved safety and outcomes.

Mandurah Caravan Tourist Park

Located in the Mandurah area, our accommodation offers a range of caravan, camping and private en-suites.

Prices ranging from $35 up to $160 per night, depending on choice of accommodation.

Fitzroy Women’s Shelter – Marninwarntikura Fitzroy Women’s Resource Centre

Provides crisis and refuge accommodation for women, with (boys up to the age of 12) or without children, experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

The Resource Centre also features a Family Violence Prevention Unit, a Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Unit, Family Centre, Indigenous Parent Support services, and social enterprise and micro-business activities.

Fusion Student Household Service

Provides support accommodation to young students either experiencing or at risk of homelessness. An external Case Worker is available to work with the residents and their families in order to address issues and seek reconciliation.

Harmony Place – Ruah

Harmony place provides professional case management and accommodation to women and dependant children (up to age 18) who are escaping domestic violence.

Individual case management is provided to women who are facing issues such as:

• Family or domestic violence
• Physical and mental health
• Substance misuse
• Legal matters
• Housing
• Psychological and emotional issues
• Social and living skills
• Community network building
• Parenting

For women and children escaping domestic violence. May also assist single women in crisis if there is accommodation available.

Caravan park and accommodation village located in Fremantle offering cabins, chalets, motel units, and sites for caravans, motor homes, camping and tents.
